Hired into expanding metros, supervised launch efforts in new markets, coordinated Community Manager training. Managed and supported a team of 10+ remote and local Community Managers. Coached members of my team toward measurable growth and creative strategy, tracked performance metrics and executed regional marketing initiatives. Public offering March 2, 2012, reached profitability July 2014. 

Community Manager, Yelp, New York, NY — 2008-2012

Planned weekly/monthly events with local businesses and national sponsors from 30-3000+ high profile guests. Ran social media marketing, negotiated and executed uniquely impactful marketing campaigns, wrote the Weekly Yelp newsletter (yelp.com/weekly) and built relationships with small and large businesses. 

Director of Local Accounts, Yelp, San Francisco, CA — 2007-2008

Pioneered the account management program overseeing 500-1750 advertisers. Developed a service-oriented program for small business clients. Hired and managed team of nine account managers. Wrote playbook that provided more in-depth insight on product and customer service values. 

Account Executive, Yelp, San Francisco, CA — 2006-2007

Fourth salesperson hired during product development phase. Cold-called to build initial client base. Collected feedback from small businesses to develop local advertising products for SMBs in the Bay Area and Chicago metros.
